Inside VQ

A word from the VQ Team
This month, our Business Development Manager Graeme shares his experience of a recent trip to Saudi Arabia with the VQ Team.
“It’s great to join a company and, within a matter of weeks, be involved in the world’s largest technology event, representing VQ Communications on the Cisco stand as a Solutions Plus Partner.
My role is to build new business across EMEA and ME, so this was a great way to meet with the key contacts – Cisco, partners and customers in the region over the five days on stand, followed by three days of meetings and workshops in Saudi Arabia.
Gitex hosts visitors from across the globe, with the primary audience in UAE, Saudi Arabia and surrounding countries. The good news is VQ have a great presence in these countries with customer successes and senior leadership engagement with Cisco too. We met the recently appointed EMEA Cisco Collaboration MD and Director for the ME to discuss plans for 2024 and building on VQ’s success as a top Solutions+ Partner. Both were in full support and keen to build on the successes to date. VQ offers their teams the opportunity to develop more with organisations that cannot move to the Cloud.
I had the opportunity to network with Cisco AMs, Partner Managers, TSAs, SEs and Collab Specialists throughout the week. Together we’re seeing great opportunities to build on our existing customer base, and with Cisco’s End of Life/End of Sale announcement for TMS, focus on new customer wins with the Cisco recommended replacement – VQ DMA.
We followed Gitex with three packed days in Riyadh, including a Cisco team workshop, partner workshops, Cisco leadership meetings, and customer meetings.
Following on from our very successful trip, we’ll be attending LEAP 2024 – March 4-7. More to come on this over the coming months, so watch out for more information.”
