VQ Metro enables enterprise-wide conferencing, empowering teams to collaborate from just about anywhere, using virtually any device on your Cisco infrastructure. Metro is the go-to solution if you:

  • Need to be on-premise
  • Want to make it easy for your end users to join, schedule and manage calls
  • Need language support on the UI

Our new video explains how Metro maximises users’ investment in Cisco collaboration infrastructure and our Metro page on our website has lots more information.

VQCM includes version 8 of Elasticsearch, enabling users to set up Kibana alerting.

With Kibana’s alerting feature, you can:

  • Monitor analytics data
  • Schedule actions (like sending emails) based on defined conditions
  • Send notifications by integrating with systems from third-party systems
  • And much more

We’ve made a change to how our training courses are purchased. Instead of purchasing a number of courses, you will now purchase training in quantities of vouchers.

Each training voucher entitles one user to one day of training. For example, if a customer would like 2 users to access a 2-day training course, 4 training vouchers would need to be purchased.

Further information on our training and certification offerings can be found on our website here.

We have a new, easy to read, document, explaining how we license VQ Conference Manager and our Professional Services and Training.

And for those of you who have access to Cisco’s Salesconnect, we’ve got 4 new videos which take you through how to order VQ Conference Manager on Cisco’s CCW.

In May, the VQ Team were across the globe meeting with Cisco partners and customers, from Riyadh to Washington D.C.

Graeme Fish, our Business Development Manager for EMEA, had a few words to share on his trip to the Middle East:

“It has been around six months since VQ visited the Middle East Region. It was great to return and be joined by Abhijit Dey to engage technically and commercially with partners, customers, and Cisco during our visit to Saudi, Oman, Qatar and Dubai. I would personally like to thank everyone we met for their warm welcome and hospitality.

We spent five working days in Saudi where I arranged to meet new partners and present VQ Meeting Services, DMA and introduce Metro to all. The feedback was extremely positive and will allow each to use this knowledge to open discussions with their customers. Our final day was to present alongside Cisco to 30 partner contacts and network with each, this has helped us gain wider traction that will open new opportunities.

The final five working days were split between Cisco and partner meetings in Oman, Qatar, and Dubai. A VQ-specific partner workshop was held for 18 attendees, and a new opportunity was found on the day. All in all, it was a great trip.”

A few words from Abhijit Dey:

“My first visit to four countries in the Middle East was an amazing experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome in each country. I enjoyed immersing myself in four distinct cultures and experiencing fantastic food.

Work-wise, the trip revealed many opportunities. Since VQ DMA is now offered as the Cisco endorsed TMS successor, there’s strong market demand, with interest coming from the market rather than us having to push the product. Both partners and Cisco sales teams really appreciate VQ’s technology.

Really looking forward to my next trip.”
