In the first of our new collaborative video series with Recon Research, Ira Weinstein breaks down one of the biggest reasons organisations choose to self-host their video conferencing: data security.

Virtual meeting data contains sensitive information you can’t afford to compromise. Cloud providers do their best to protect it, but breaches still happen.

When you self-host, your data stays within your infrastructure, protecting your existing security protocols and never exposing data to third-party control planes.

August was a busy month for VQ, with back-to-back events in the US:

TechNet Augusta was a fantastic opportunity to connect with US federal, defence, and industry leaders as guests on the Cisco stand.

Over in Las Vegas at Cisco GSX, we had a great wave of interest from Cisco wanting to learn more about our self-hosted conferencing solutions.

A huge thank you to the Cisco community for their ongoing support of VQ. The relationship continues to grow, and we’re excited to keep building on this momentum.

And the journey doesn’t stop here – next up is WebexOne in San Diego (29 Sept – 1 Oct). We’d love to see you there!
