VQ Communications Secures Milestone U.S. Army Agreement for Sovereign Collaboration
July 7th, 2026 – VQ Communications, a leader in secure, self-hosted conferencing solutions for Cisco-based infrastructure, today announced the largest enterprise agreement in its 22-year history. The agreement with the United States Army (U.S. Army) represents a significant milestone for the company and reflects the growing importance of centralized management and operational resilience within complex collaboration environments.
This 12-month agreement is being delivered in partnership with World Wide Technology (WWT) and includes scope for future expansion. The deployment supports the ongoing modernization of collaboration infrastructure across government and defense environments.
Under the agreement, the U.S. Army have procured licenses from VQ Communications’ Device Management and Automation (DMA), VQ Conference Manager (VQCM), enabling Army organizations to access shared licensing resources.
For the U.S. Army, ensuring the availability and performance of communications services is a critical operational requirement. VQCM will serve as the management platform for the U.S. Army’s fleet of Cisco collaboration devices, streamlining the management of Cisco collaboration infrastructure through automation and centralized oversight, reducing administrative burden and enabling faster response to potential issues.
Giles Adams, CEO at VQ Communications, said: “This enterprise-scale agreement reflects how the global industry is evolving. Government entities demand resilient platforms that support complex conferencing environments and provide the highest level of security imaginable. We are honoured that the U.S. Army is managing its Cisco devices at scale with us.”
In defense environments, communications systems must remain resilient and secure across geographically dispersed locations. With thousands of collaboration endpoints deployed across multiple locations, the U.S. Army faces significant operational complexity in managing and maintaining its communications infrastructure.
The deployment reflects the U.S. Army’s requirement for secure management of its collaboration infrastructure while maintaining sovereign operational control.
VQCM enables administrators to monitor and manage collaboration environments from a single interface, helping teams maintain service continuity while reducing the burden of day-to-day system management.
This 12-month agreement is being delivered in partnership with WWT and includes scope for future expansion. The deployment supports the ongoing modernization of collaboration infrastructure across government and defense environments.
Ryan McCauley, AVP, Army Team, WWT said: “Our partnership with VQ Communications reflects WWT’s commitment to delivering secure, resilient infrastructure for defense environments. By combining VQ Communications’ platform with WWT’s integration expertise, we’re enabling greater centralized control and operational continuity at scale.”
As organizations continue to prioritize digital sovereignty, high-resilience, and strict zero-trust cybersecurity architectures, VQ Communications remains committed to supporting defense, government, and enterprise customers with secure collaboration solutions.
