VQ’s Monthly News – February 2024

The VQ Team have had a great February, with Cisco Live being a very successful event for us. This month also marks two years of the VQ newsletter.

This newsletter recaps both our time at Cisco Live and our recent 3.x end of life webinar.

  • Cisco Live EMEA recap
  • 3.x end of life and 4.x migration on-demand webinar
  • New VQ customer insights
  • An overview of Metro
  • A word from the VQ Team

We spent the week meeting with our Cisco colleagues, partners and customers, as well as having many conversations with potential new customers and partners.

VQ Conference Manager’s Meeting Services continues to resonate well, and interest in DMA, the Cisco-recommended replacement for TMS, continues to build. We have a growing customer base and our pipeline is fantastically strong.

Barry reflects on his experience of the event here.

Metro, our new end-user app, enables authorised users to join or host video or audio conferences on Cisco infrastructure.

It had a fantastic response from those who saw it demo’d at Cisco Live, with one VQ customer saying… “This is making me so happy. [Metro] looks fantastic and just what we’ve been looking for. I can’t wait to share this with my team.”

This is just the start.

We’re bringing exciting new features to Metro this year, such as Teams and Outlook integration.

Earlier this month, we held a webinar explaining the approaching end of life for VQ Conference Manager 3.x and the migration path to our 4.x platform.

The full session covered:

  • What you need to know about 3.x going end of life in June 2024
  • The migration process to the 4.x platform
  • A Q&A session with the VQ Team

If you missed the webinar, you can watch on-demand here.

Our company ethos is deeply rooted in a customer-first approach. Our product development strategy is built on listening to our customers and building the features which solve the problems they tell us they are experiencing.

We’re creating a library of insights shared by our customers on their experience with VQ and our platform.

This month, we hear from Dan and Harvey, who have recently joined the team:

My first three months at VQ have been both enjoyable and rewarding. The team played a crucial role in facilitating a smooth transition for me, fostering a sense of belonging from the very start

A high level of employee autonomy allowed me to hit the ground running, and I found myself able to contribute and provide value immediately after the induction process. I look forward to contributing to the company’s ongoing success, as I am confident that together we will achieve remarkable milestones in the years to come.”

“Since joining the VQ API Dev Team, I have had a really good time. The whole team are intelligent, friendly and helpful.

“Even though I work from home, the company has created a fantastic working environment where I can thrive. The work itself has been interesting and enjoyable. I feel proud to be part of a high-functioning team and really look forward to the rest of my career here at VQ
