VQ Communications Launches VQ Conference Manager 4.8 with Advanced Conferencing Center
April 14, 2026 – VQ Communications, a leader in secure, self-hosted conferencing solutions for Cisco-based infrastructure, today announced the release of VQ Conference Manager (VQCM) 4.8. The latest version introduces a range of new capabilities designed to enhance resilience, simplify operations, and support increasingly complex conferencing environments.
The release marks the first product update of 2026, and includes the rollout of the recently announced Advanced Conferencing Center (ACC), alongside a series of enhancements reflecting growing demand for secure, scalable conferencing.
VQ Conference Manager 4.8 introduces:
ACC – Operator-led control for complex, high-stakes conferencing
Unified conferencing enhancements – A simplified user experience across on-premises and cloud services
Enhanced high availability – Sub-60-second failover with streamlined operations
Multi-cluster CMS support – Greater resilience with reduced administrative overhead
MTR mode on Cisco devices – Microsoft Teams Rooms support in restricted environments
Device certificate renewals automation – Simplified lifecycle management
Automated device backups – Scalable protection for in-room configurations
Scheduled device onboarding [pre-provisioning]
