Statement on VQ Conference Manager and DoDIN APL
Following the sunset of the DoDIN Approved Products List (APL) programme in late 2025, the U.S. Department of Defense is transitioning to a new validation framework. Under this framework, cybersecurity compliance will be addressed through the DISA Vendor STIG process, while interoperability requirements will be validated against the UCR-CORE.
As an existing APL-certified vendor, VQ Communications has been formally invited to participate in the new process. VQ Communications is currently working through the process of securing a Vendor STIG for VQ Conference Manager (VQCM) and we are awaiting the initial UCR-CORE draft (expected 30th January 2026) so we can begin assessing and documenting compliance with the UCR-CORE requirements to ensure continued alignment with Department of Defense interoperability and security expectations.
VQCM’s most recent APL certification renewal, awarded in 2025, remains valid until September 2026. During this transition period, VQ Communications continues to work closely with its existing APL sponsor and relevant authorities to ensure continuity of certification, transparency of compliance, and uninterrupted support for government, defence, and intelligence customers.
