Configure your Cisco Meeting Servers using VQ Conference Manager
VQ Conference Manager includes Ansible playbooks that automate core Cisco Meeting Server (CMS) configuration and administration tasks. Launched in version 3.7 as part of our Early Adopter Program, these include Cisco Meeting Server web app 3 setup, and backing up CMS. There are more in the roadmap, including the initial configuration of CMS itself.
Automating these key processes significantly reduces risk of human error, ensures consistency and accelerates each task.
Automated user and meeting Space provisioning and notifications
Define and provision your conferencing users, their virtual meeting Spaces and available call types, based on information from your Active Directory/LDAP system.
Keep up-to-date with moves and changes by syncing automatically with your centralized corporate user database.
Automatically email new users all the details they need to get started.
Define call and Space types for different user needs and scenarios
Successful conferencing services offer the right call experiences for different users in different situations.
A conference with your management team presenting to the company needs to be set up differently from an informal meeting between team members, or one involving a salesperson and prospective client.
Create tiered services by setting up one or more Space types for each group of users, so that everyone can make calls in the way(s) they require.
The right user experience for users, operators and administrators
Put the right tools in front of the right users. VQ Conference Manager’s user interface profiles enable you to configure exactly which functionality is available to which user groups.
